The ecological charter

Six commitments, measured and published

Every SYMBIORIZ farm follows the same charter, whatever the country. Each commitment is tracked by public indicators that an independent body can verify.

Zero chemicals

No pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilisers or preventive antibiotics.

Zero discharge

All water passes through filtering wetlands before leaving the site.

Local feed

Feed for the fish and ducks is grown or raised on site.

Zero deforestation

Savannah or degraded land preferred; never in primary forest, protected areas or protected wetlands.

Controlled species

Local species first; no introduction without authorisation and containment.

Rising biodiversity

A survey before construction, then every year: the farm must enrich its surroundings.

A self-sufficient farm

It produces what it needs

Energy

Sun and biogas

Pumping, cold storage and processing powered by solar, biogas and rice husk.

Feed

100% local

Rice bran, duckweed, azolla, insect larvae and leaves from the food forest.

Fertility

Living soil

Azolla, compost, earthworms and biochar replace all chemical fertilisers.

Water

Recycled

Water flows from ponds to paddies, then to the wetlands that purify it.

Climate

Paddy methane, addressed with full transparency

Every flooded paddy emits methane. SYMBIORIZ reduces these emissions, stores carbon in soils and trees, and publishes its carbon balance every year.

  • Ducks in every paddy
  • Biochar and controlled drainage
  • Carbon stored by the food forest
  • A carbon footprint measured and published
